I have a weiand 8011 intake, attached is a picture of it with a port circled, can I put a fitting here and run my vacuum modulator from it?

yes, but i usually prefer a carb port that is below the throttle blades for more consistent signal.

My edelbrock as a hole back side of the intake carb mounting flange. I ran mine there works fine!!!! I ran mine off the carb and it haunted around between 2nd and third to much. I have a stall converter may have affected it but it made a difference.
