You need to get the right gasket. None of the holes in the separator plate should be blocked off or restricted. it helps a lot if the valve body is warped a little but if it is not warped then the gasket really does very little to make the transmission work better. Any seepage between the plate and valve body sections is minimal and will not interfere with the operation of the tranny. You can put one in if it makes you feel better.

My stock plate and the b&m plate have a hole or two in different places, is this correct, or did I get a wrong b&m plate?

If it is the right b&m plate, should I use a stock gasket and just drill out the gasket where the different holes are?

    thanks,
    Jon
