    Re: CNUSA

I would have to agree with Rudy, while your casting may be made, some may be disappointed if you went with a 70 grabber instead of the 71/72 with the hood, but regardless, I am very excited about you guys doing this!!

    Thanks!

Thanks MapleMav! I got my pre-order in.

I'm a little partial, but here is another great color for a mini-Mav.

    Maverick Brochure '76

    CNUSA,

I have an original, unmolested, pristine factory brochure for the '76 models (which include excellent pictures of people wearing disco shirts) standing around the Maverick, Pinto and Mustang Sprint models for that year (Yes, Ford offered all of these models in the same paint scheme).

Please let me know if it would be of assistance. Although not a grabber, it is a pristine example of days gone by.

    Regards,
    Pegasus

The Sprint was a 72 option. I hear the 76 alot. I think everyone says this because of 76 being the bicentennial.

I agree that a '72 model with the hood scoops would look cool. As with all great beginnings revisited, Tiger Wheels intent is to start with the first full-year production model of the Maverick and to follow up down the road with subsequent production years. Obviously, demand will be the driving train. We are committed to making a quality replica with which we believe the enthusiast will be pleased. Based on input provided here and elsewhere and on the overall marketing scheme, we are proposing five colors with seven variations. When the order is approved, we will publish the specifics. I can say that the colors proposed are factory colors and the customs will be off-shoots from the factory colors. In addition, we are proposing the use of factory wheels and aftermarket ones too!

Thanks for the poster offer. I believe I have seen the poster digitized elsewhere on the net. Would it be same you think?

Regarding the pre-orders, we have received several recently from whom we believe are active participants and viewers of this forum. Thanks for the support. You are not billed in advance for a pre-order and you will be able to resubmit your order for all the variations when we get the word. However, to secure the order now and so we can maintain its validity, you will have to get in contact with us to provide us with payment information, otherwise the pre-order will be adiministratively cancelled. This is all explained in the order confirmation email that you receive when placing an order. If you've already placed the pre-order, we will get in contact with you about the program specifics later to give you all the options.
