How to make Caltrac traction Bars

I found this on the internet and thought it might help. I've already done this with my shelby bars and so far it seems to work.

    I hope this helps!

Very good link! A great tech article.

Wish I'd seen that before shelling out the $$$.

I have a friend who is one helluva fabricator. He would love to have 'tried' that - and probably will on his '60's Falcon.

All we need now is someone to produce the bellcrank-kit for shelby bars and I will buy one!

building em now, a bro of mine is an aircraft certified tig welder. we use only the finest premium steels, and the bearings will be berrys. ill let ya know how they work, should only be pennies on the dollar. and work just as good, im almost tempted to integrate the slide a link into it somehow, for more versatility.
