Where can I get a 1 belt crank pulley or do they even make such a thing?

I had to cut one of the pulleys off to get what I wanted .

    Pulley Info

Had this same delima with the Mav race car when decided to put on a mini alternator. Ended up at the local farm and home store. They had a large asst. of pulleys to choose from. Bolt patterns were not correct but had enough room to correctly lay out the pattern we needed and redrill it. Has been on for several months and many 7000rpm runs. Must add that the lay out work and drilling has to be exact so it runs true. Hope this helps some.

Hey John if you decide to go that route let me know I can take that pulley over to my buddies house and set it up in a fixture on his mill and drill those holes within .0005. And I would be glad to help you out. Just give me a ring if you decide to do it that way, and we will know that it is on the money that way.

My crank pulley is the one belt style, I got it from Ford Racing Performance Parts. I had to have a spacer made to get the alignment with the other pulleys correct. I think that March makes exactly what you want though.

    Thanks guys!
I had heard something about it needed to be a "deep slotted" pulley? Is that just to help prevent the belt from coming off at high rpm's?

I like the surpentine look. these pullies came from 80-90's mustang and were just laying around a friends. They should be a dime a dozen. I needed a 3/8" spacer for the crank but all else worked OK.

    Thanks guys.
I am sure there will be some fabrication work for me. Since I have the plates, instead of motor mounts, I figure it will take a little engineering to get everything to line up.
    Again, Thanks.

Mavaholic, that looks great!! Couple of questions? First, where did you find a grooved water pump pulley? I thought all mustangs (5L's, at least) used smooth pulleys? I will check my brothers '93 when he gets home. Also, where did you get the spacer for the crank? Or did you make one? I don't have the machinery to make a very sophisticated one, i wonder if just the four 3/8" washers would be enough? Thanks!

Or is that just marks on the pully from the belt? Do you know the part number for that belt?
