A lil front suspension help please..

    Ok anyone have part numbers for trick drag springs for the front of my 73 mav??Or what stock springs does everyone use..Also any part number on adjustable shocks for the front and a good rebuild kit for it???Thanks Roger

    i think i used a set of the moroso slinkies in my 67 mustang. probably for sbc camaro, but i dont remember which exactly. not the ones for 428 cj. even then i cut about 1 coil to adj height. they are not for street use.

    Don't have #'s but can tell you that everyone I know that have used the Moroso's, no matter the make of car, have had to cut some off for ride height. Also Competition Engineering 90/10's up front but the Qa1's sound as good if not better. We have always used 6cyl. front springs in the Mav drag only car, with 1 1/2 coils cut off. That is until we switched it over to a Stang ll front end with coil over's. Very good advice on the Moroso's about using for strip only, as 1090 said. The front end kit's are a toss up, some on here can fill you in better on which is better or worse, for the money.

    I used the PST kit, It was a very good and complete kit, also used the springs they sell, Works good, set the front end up maybe 1 inch.
