casting numbers for the motor that is in my maverick are as follows and i believe the kid when he told me that its out of a H.O thunderbid or lincoln E5AE C3F thats the block number under the starter:16suspect . I hope that someone on here can tell me if its a good number and what it came out of, if its a late model 5.0L I can use the flywheel for my motor and i don't have to buy one. Whoever installed the motor spent some money, the dissy is a MSD 8382, MSD Blaster 3 coil, MSD 6A box, headers are hookers and they fit well, it has holley 750dp if the motor turns out to be H.O motor I stole it so someone check the numbers and post reply
Thunderbirds never had H.O. motors. Mark VII had 5.0 and H.O. motors. The H.O. were in the Mark with LSC option. Just check the firing order to tell. My 5.0 is out of a 86 T-bird, roller cam but not an H.O. . Also no mass air, just speed densty.
firing order engine has a firing order of 1,3,7,2,6,5,4,8 and i believe thats the firing order of the H.O engine :bananaman :16suspect
