ok, i am seriously considering buying 3 more mavericks. 2 cars are parts cars in my opinion and 1 i am considering for a 351 project. here's the specs:

    1) 1972 maverick 4door (im thinking parts car)
    200 6 cylinder/automatic p/s(?)
    pretty good interior (black)
    good rear bumper and parts
no front bumper but the rest of the car is there
exterior was painted with house paint (purple)

    2) 1973 maverick 4door LDO (also thinking parts car)
    302 V8/automatic a/c p/s
good LDO interior(nice seats and such), tan
decent exterior (has bumped a guardrail on the driver's fender before)
-gold exterior and had a vinyl top (and still has the good gas cap ;))

    3) 1974 maverick 2door (possible 351 car)
    250 6 cylinder/3 speed manual column shift, p/s(?)
interior is there but not in very good condition (brown)
exterior is RUSTY and will need alot of attention (brown)
car is complete minus fenders so it still has all the manual stuff

so, i know what these are worth in my opinion but i was wondering what everyone else was thinking. if i had some pics i'd post them but unfortunately dont have any. y'all think i would be right in parting the 4door's and building another 2door? let's hear some opinions people...:drive:

Combine the stuff from the 73 4 door with the 74 2 door and sell what you don't need or want off the 72 and 73 4 doors.....

I bought a 73 like the one there except minus LDO and the guardrail damage for $300 about a decade ago. I bought a clean(except driver seat), no rust 74 2 door 250 3 gear for $550 years ago as well. I would consider it a good deal if I could walk away with all three for less than $1500 but $1000 - $1200 would be what I would offer. They sound kinda rough. and yeah, part out what you don't use on the 4 doors. Even though the 2 door is rusty.

I would say 650 for all of them would be fair, it depends how YOU want them

NOOOOOO---- these guys have it backwards. part out the rusty 2 door and drop the 351 in the 4 door. set it up as a street sleeper with the whole subtle look then drop the hammer on the unsuspecting. it sounds like the 4 doors would be much less work and also very unique.

If you're more interested in the 2dr, keep it. But sounds like with not too much work you could have a nice 4dr.

I think $650 a better price, but would go the $750.

Fix up and sell one of the 4dr's--keep it out of the scrap yard. should be able to get $800 out of a runner all day long in just about any town. Just make it sound and mild clean.

Part the remainder, and you just got others to help pay for your hobbie--IMO
