I put my new carb on today, it a difference the only thing that sucked about it is i bought one with a choke, so i can't run the filter top. I ended up getting a 675 Holy street avenger that is a very nice carb for the money.:drive: I would have just got a taller air filter but I have hood clearance problems.

The choke assembly shouldn,t bother the air filter base plate or the actual filter itself. Check with the shop that you bought the carb from.

I have 1 1/4 drop on the base and a 2" k&n air filter with a K&N filter top. It was the choke on the top of the carb that gave me greaf. No big deal i just ran a Edlbrock top insted. Thanks for getting back to me tho(y)
