Well...I just couldnt wait any longer on the Tranny Linkage... put her in gear manually and ran her around the block:bananaman
Lotta little things to work out but overall it went well...main thing
right now is rear wheels scraping wells...new shocks shouldnt allow that....May need airshocks
My diamond in the rough

Thx guys...I got my tranny linkage today...unfortunately for various reasons it wouldnt work.
I ended up goin with the B&M ratchet shifter on the floor... it works well I just need a boot for it.
Also got the Flows piped to the headers...it sounds GREAT.
I'll let the pros take it out the back.
I was thinkin of straight piping them through the valence...any one got a setup like that, that could post a pic...would like to see what that looks like.
    Thx Rick

    Air shocks

Rick you might want to see if you can find another way to keep the tires from rubbing other then air shocks. Air shocks are ok for giving you enough room for your tires but will not allow them to BITE as well. When you add air shocks you lose traction on a hard launch, air shocks will keep your weight from transfering to your tires. Now if this is just a street machine and you aren't worried about the bite or the ride go with air shocks.

    As always just my .02

    P.S. nice looking ride!

LOL, my antenna is that long too, I figure if I am ever starving in the middle of nowhere, I can use it to go fishing.

Maybe an extra leaf spring? I've go to do something...I am concerned with the bite and ride.
But i got to get the wells off them tires...the shocks are brand new and firm and my tires just arent that wide.
Now granted...my son who is 6'4" and weighs 320 was on that side...;) ...but still....grrrrr
    Thx, Rick

riporter I had the same problem that you are having and I took my springs out and took them to a local spring shop here and they added a leaf and rearched them and I haven't had any trouble out of mine at all. That was 7 years ago and they have settled very little. I think all total I gaind and 1 1/2 in the rear.

Thx squeal...that helps alot...I kinda had a feeling that was it...as long as I dont lose the bite it has now...she hunkers down nicely on the rear and bites hard...1 1/2 inches would be perfect.
    Thx Rick

    BTW...very sharp lookin ride:clap:
