THANK GOD IT WAS NOT MY MAVERICK! I was driving home on interstate 35, 5 miles from my exit and a deer ran out of the ditch. Hit it probibly going between 65 to 75. Everyone was ok though well except for the car.

    Glad you are okay.

My buddy who painted my Comet lost his Dad
3 years ago when a deer jumped through
    the windshield of his van.

Up here in deer country, we see this all the time. I have missed them by ten feet on my motorcycle. That usually doesn't go to well for the rider.

Sorry about your car. My Dad hit one last week in his Mercury $2600 worth.
I was driving down the highway today and DOT plow truck was in front of me. Our plow trucks have plow extentions that can be lowered to do the berms. Anyhow this truck was cruising along 55 mph (no snow to be seen) all of a sudden he puts the plow down on the berm. I'm thinking what the hell is he doing?? All of a sudden a deer carcass come flying out of the end of the plow, over the guard rail, and into the woods. It is either the coolest or grossest thing I've ever seen. I guess that's as good of a way as any to clean off the berms. Russ
