So did everyone make it home OK? We just got in at 7:00. It was a great time got to see old freinds and make some new. If you were never there you should try to make it. Nice job on all the mavericks and comets that were there they were first class in my book. Can`t wait for the Rnd-up.

We made it home in good shape. Just got a little wet, which was better than last year when we drove home in a monsoon. Dale and I had a wonderful time. :) As always, it was great to see everyone, shoot the bull with old friends and make new ones too. I counted 11 Mavericks and Comets in our class, all of which were winners in my eyes. Great job everyone!   We were not there Friday, but Sat. was hot and most importantly, it didn't rain! That in itself is rare for Carlisle. Many thanks to Doug:tiphat: for tracking down some parts we needed when Dale and I finally had to park our aching bones for a while. We both felt like a pair of cripples by the end of the day, but it did not stop us from having a great time. We can hardly wait til next year.:D

We started packing up early on Saturday afternoon (3:00) and got home around 6:30. It is a long week when you're there from Tuesday on. It was great to meet some new people from the board and put a face with a name. Thanks to all those who stopped by and said "hi" and especially to those who made our show the best ever (in 37 years of business). The long, laborious task will be to somehow re-stock the hard to find parts that we sold the last of. Thanks again and I look forward to next year.

Doug: I'll have to look for the driver's side headlight door. Let me know which style you definitely need: early or late.

man I forgot that this was coming up so soon. I was going to talk the Wife into taking the weekend road trip up there in the Maverick. She's been wanting to take a long ride in the Maverick since I bought it. Had my son home almost all weekend too(normally goes to my grandmothers to keep he company)
Sounds like everyone enjoyed the show.

Still have the MCCI 14th Annual Roundup Nationals coming up the last weekend of July in Washington, D.C. That would make a GREAT weekend trip for you and your wife.
