    paint??

 I thought you were staying with the original paint?? if so, the hood and fender blended great....from here anyway.......and the sand lines, were they blended?? I must have missed a thread or two ...... anyway that is one good looking car and would have made the other car frame jealous ........ Robert
ps . ... is it named yet? my wife just named my comet HAG.......... I think she meant that in a loving way:rolleyes:

Yea Comet the hood and quarter panel was painted the original color...the sand lines were painted and blended right in with the original paint....now there is some rubbing and buffing to do...but all in all it turned out pretty good for paint out of a spray can. We have a parts store local that as long as you have the code letter they can put the paint in a can for ya...really good product too...coverage was excellent and the match was perfect...hard to get to run too...which is good cuz I have probs with that;)

Now the fun part starts..painting the lines on:eek:

It is painted white Rudy and its the bumper off the 73. I've just got it on there until my 70 bumper is straightened and rechromed. I'll get a pic and post it.
