    Hi all, does anyone know, if say 66 mustang tri y headers will fit a 70 maverick? Looking for a cheap header with plenty of clearance thanks, Ron:cheers:

    The original 289 Tri-Y headers don't fit in the Maverick. Some of the copies might.

    Passenger side fits perfect.
    The driver's side actually does too, as long as you don't want to turn left.;)

    If you have a manual tranny, the linkage hits too.

    Yeah.
    The rod and spring in the upper right of the pic are running between the Z-bar and clutch arm at the bell.
