Hello, My name is Chris. When I was 15 I conned my parents into giving me a 1964 Ford Fairlane we had. It had a inline 6 170(yuck) and I wanted a 289. Well, we started hunting for mavericks and such figuring a 302 would do. My dad got a 77 Maverick as a trade in and let me test drive it. Well, rather than gut it for the Fairlane, it became my first driver. 13 years later, I'm ready to put it back on the road. This seems like a great place to get advice. Talk to y'all soon! http://mmb.maverick.to/images/smilies/icon_drive.gif
Right now you say "you want to get it back on the road"... If you hang around here for any length of time, you'll be talking small bumper conversion, Granada discs, AFRs, and all other sorts of 'Greek'! Welcome.
It is a 2 door Fairlane, and I still own it, but it's a rust bucket. Wish I had 20-30k to have Boyd or someone do a number on it.
TO THE BOARD! one thing you will learn real quick is we like pictures here ....... post away .... would love to see your project!!!
