is this going to be a street car? if so, why did you paint the fenders before cutting out the headlight buckets? just curious and trying to learn something. definitely looks nice. also what brand of fenders are they and how well did they fit? thanks for the info. i just made reservations to be at the et finals in october at lvms.
Yes it is going to be a street car and Yes it is going to be a street car and I don't know why the fenders were painted before cutting the buckets. I know it's not a big deal because the paint booth is in the building behind the car so my restorer can pretty much do what he wants. I also don't know about the fenders but if I have to I'll get fiberglass ones. If you recall I was going to put in a 408 stroker in the car. I made a change in plans and am restoring a 1964 for falcon sprint and putting the stroker in it and putting in a built 289 hipo motor from the falcon into the comet. Believe it or not the falcon will be finished before the comet and were shooting for hot august nights. Now tell me what finals are in october here in vegas? Thanks! jamescomet
