After a 20+ year search, I finally found a Maverick to be proud of. Paid more than I wanted to, but, it cost a lot less than my 1935 Chevy Speedster. It's a 1972 Grabber, harvest gold, V8 302, c4 automatic, air, power steering, custom wheels, 46,000 org. miles, interior is mint & the body near perfect. I'll be looking for a NOS deck lid, as origional owner mounted a Wing on the deck lid. I gotta say, after a few Cruise Nights, the ladies like Mavericks.
welcome to the board. nos parts are hard to come by but not impossible. they show up on ebay once in a while.
You purchased Bills Grabber??? Ilooked at it a year ago.Very well done car.Congratulations are in order.I allmost purchased it my self(still dont know why I passed on it)Lots of good stuff on that car.Have fun!!!Oh did he sell you the other engine he had for it???
Don't know if its the same car your thinking about. This one came up from Martinsville, Va. last year is the story I got. The gentleman lived outside Lockport, N.Y. The car is SUPER clean all over & gets as much attention as my Chevy Speedster which is worth 4 times the money.
Sounds exactly like one I looked at,right down to the spoiler on the trunk. Its pedastal mounted right? like a boss mustang trunk spoiler? If not then oops. But congrats any way.Enjoy!!
