    Hi everyone,

The samples of the Tiger Wheels Mavericks due out soon arrived from Hong Kong on Friday. We spent a pretty fair part our weekend critiquing every model and have already responded to the manufacturer to incorporate necessary detail changes. For instance...what happened to the Grabber hood stripes? In the meantime, here's a group pic of some of the prototype samples we received. The custom wheels and tires on the model grabbing pavement are the centerline replicas we've been trying to achieve. They're definitely a go. New stock wheels did not arrive for us to review, but we laid these babies on the Grabbers to give you the idea. We'll be posting more pics to our web site as we make them. As usual, nothing is on schedule, but we're working steadily towards getting them done right. We hope you like our direction.

    Best Regards,
    Robert

Looks pretty good and I probably shouldn't be so nitpicky, but is it just me or does something about the roof line just not quite look right? Especially the slope down towards the trunk lid. I'm probably just begging to get flamed for this, but I like to live on the edge. :)

Nothing to get flamed about. The angle of the shot does not do much justice for the body lines, but the real things look dead on to us. We'll hope you'll agree when you have them in your hands!
