or something similar. Anyone out there know a good place to find one or have one they want to sell???? What about any other traction solutions for the 8in stock rear. Looks impressive to smoke the tires but it wont help my times!!

    4spd

    Thanks

I dont think I should run a mini spool. This is going to be a daily driver that makes a few trips to the track during the summer. Isnt a spool hard on tires and axles during cornering?? Thanks for the info. I think I would like gears in the range of 3.25.

Alright! Thanks. I think I am going to get the detroit locker. Anyone know if the 8" will hold up to about 300hp and 3-4000 rpm clutch drops!! Its going to be a while before I can afford it.

    Thanks.

Curries "Alumin-8" and their billit pinion support are sweet parts to build a 8" with. I would probabuly stay away from slicks and high RPM drops but otherwise I would think you would be fine with an 8". Talk to Currie they are very helpful.
