I found 2 mavericks at a local salvage yard Wednesday. I can't get the pics to load as they too big. How can i make them fit? There is a 1974 4 door and a wrecked 2 door. Also, everyone's Fav, a pea green Pinto station wagon.

Go to this website; http://www.irfanview.com/ and download IrfanView. It will allow you to resize the images. Install and open the program, find your picture and choose the Image tab. Then choose Resize/Resample. I've had good luck with choosing 800X600 Pixels. Save the picture as the new size and it should be small enough to upload.

or email the pics to me and I will resize them and email them back. Then you can attach them under your user name. I use CompuPic (great program!) and can easily and quickly resize them to a variety of sizes.

I'd like to see the pictures too - I'm not to far away from you and my brother-in-law lives in Fayetteville (Actually, West Fork).

Bob, I was in Tulsa one day and a guy caught me at a gas station and told about a Maverick that was just east of the old Mill road exit. He told me to head east, turn north at the mill, go north to the big tree, take a right and follow the gravel road to the end. It's a blue Maverick. I went down there a few months back and never found it. I did find something blue though - seems like it was a Pontiac if I remember right. Do you know the car he was talking about?

That must have been what he was talking about. Another case where a Maverick is confused with something else. I didn't know the guy - it was just one of the gas pump conversations.
    Thanks for checking it out.

Will you send me the pictures of the 2 salvage yard Mavericks?
