Did 73-74 Mavericks have Emissions equipment?

    Okay...
    Makes sense.
    So apparently the exaust system alone can burn off some stuff with oxygen added.
    The cat was just a progression of that theory then.
    "If the exhaust can burn some off with oxygen, then an incinerator chamber would do better" must have been the reasoning.

    Learned something today. ;)

    Xactly. The cat completes the process, but the air pump, or "THERMal reACTOR" system is the main component. Any body still running it?
