spark plug problem?

    i dont mean to sound ungreatfull, but i know what you guys are saying.. and im saying i dont see any place where oil leaked from.. dont see any unusual new oil..

    Sorry, sometimes it's hard to tell the meaning behind a post.
    Try running your fingers along the bottom of the valve covers while touching the head at the same time. Make sure the engine is cool when you do it so you don't get burned.

    i tried this but only in one spot.. in the morning ill run my finger across the whole thing.

    I'm with Paul on this one. It doesn't sound like anything major. You could always do a compression test. But if you don't have smoke, you probably don't have much blow-by.


    Remember that a little oil does go into the cylinder to lube the rings. They can't be run dry, they would wear out quickly.

    At least they arn't rusty :)

    well pulled some of the plugs today and the tips are now black.. damnit wtf!!!!

    autolites and whatever gap they should be, i dont remember... i think i probably need to adjust my air/fuel mixture on my carb..well thats what i read on a spark plug diagnosis webpage..

    I have this problem as well on my 250, what appeared to be oil was fuel and carbon. I run an MSD 5 with NGK V-power plugs gapped at .57. At .45 they just loaded up. NOw they take a few miles. I dont know where the adjustment is on the carb. If you do, please let me know.
