Ok, here I go again. Now that I've bought wheels (Magnums), I have to get tires. The tire of choice will be BFG T/A's 215/60 or 205/70 Front and 255/60 rear.

What is your opinion on white letters facing out or black wall out?

I'm thinking white letters out so it looks more 70's, but black wall out looks good too.

I prefer black, but as PART-TIME said, it all up to you.

To me it depends on the wheel type . For example On the Magnum 500`s you are using,or any of the "older" wheels styles I would want raised white letters .
But on the more recent designs like Cobra R`s or racing wheels such as Centerlines or Welds (like my pro stars) I`d use black wall .
But you gotta make yourself happy

    :)

Good rule of thumb, if they are cheap tires, hide it and go black. If they are nice tires show it off and go white.

Thanks to all that have responded. I looked through the gallery of photos and I will most likely go with the letters showing. Thanks for confirming my thoughts.

I picked up a BFG booklet on T/A's and did a review of the tire sizes/height/section width and I think I will be going 205 or 215/60X15 up front and 245 or 255/60 in the rear.

I'll measure the wheel opening in the morning to see which fits best.

    Thanks again.

I've got the white letters out on my Magnum 500's, and I think it really fits the look of the vintage wheels.
