Just wanted to pass this along as it is kind of amusing:) now but wasnt earlier today:mad:! Bought an extra guage cluster off ebay so I could experiment with it (White Face it, etc.,) the mail lady placed it against our garage door, my wife got in her car opened the garage door with the opener and backed over it and destroyed it, left white packing peanuts all over the yard as wind was blowing etc...just a mess!!! Went to the post office and they called the carrier and she admitted leaving it in front of the garage door, because she didnt follow proper procedure she has to pay me $29.45 out of her pocket for the demolished cluster I hate she has to do that but I hate even worse the cluster getting demolished as I cant find another for that. Just thought I would pass this story on to you as to how parts will become rarer and rarer. Overall I like the post office as I have over 3700 feedbacks on ebay so I have dealt with them alot.
    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Not a good idea to PO the mail Lady either! ( if the post master got on her, and she's out of pocket money) well go figure! "I never seen a tax refund check" maybe you need to check with the IRS, credit card bill never came? and now you have to pay a late fee? wow! sorry to hear about that! You put mail out to be picked up by her? Hmmmmm, wounder why they never got my payment!

If you do so much ebay, i would guess it's not the first time a package was left for you, but maybe the last!

Think about what? she didnt follow procedure, so are you saying I shouldnt make her refund me and just eat the losses when I followed all procedures of the transaction and she didnt or what? If I dont follow procedure at my job I am in trouble, my wife works in the operating room would you like for her to not follow procedure? and as for the "If you do so much on Ebay" I buy some on Ebay and have things delivered but most of my feedbacks through the years are mostly from selling. Check for yourself EKJSALES feedback score of 3645 with 4373 positive feedbacks. By the way are you a Postman?

Slow down! Chill out! Watch when you back the car up! ( could be a child there and not a package with a $30.00 part in it)

My point was why get the mail lady in trouble? I would think that you had packages left before, hell! maybe not!, if you can't see what i mean, then I'm sorry! I don't mean any harm.:Handshake

    Tom,
What he is saying is it is not the correct place to leave a package via the policy they go by.

Have you never backed over something on accident?
A box with a dash cluster would be hard to see if left on the ground, especially if it was in the center of the car.

Thanks Andy and thread wasnt the fact of the Mail Lady getting in trouble, I put the thread on here about one less Guage Cluster and the fact that due to whatever reasons as I stated how this one happened that parts are going to get fewer and fewer, as far as looking behind car, how many people get in their car, press the button and raise the garage door, then get out of the car to go and look behind it? I agree on warmer days you may press the button by the door as you go to your car, but not on cold days where you dont want that burst of cool air hitting you. Sorry Tom let it lead to this as the actual thread was Parts!
