Hi all! So far, Pegasus Powder Coating is doing a brisk business in powder coating parts for our favorite classics but, in following-up with my customers, I'm finding that a lot of them are simply thowing the old parts in the TRASH when thier new powder coated parts arrive! This has *got* to stop! I have spent my share of sweaty, bloody-handed weekends in the parts yard trying to save anything I can for our Mavericks and Comets so I can really appreciate how much effort it takes to find rare parts so... If you have any "spare" parts laying around that can be powder coated (shock tower braces, caps, motor mounts, latch supports, etc), and you send them in, we will powder coat an item of similiar size in your choice of colors FREE (+$5.00 shipping). You get the idea, send in an old hood latch support and we will coat your V8 brace. Got a pair of old shock tower braces laying around? Send them in along with a pair of braces you want coated and the deal is done! I am not looking to make any money off of this, but we have got to save what is left of our parts. As you know, Ford isn't making Maverick and Comet parts any more. If your interested then please email me with a description of the spare parts you have and what you would like coated (and what color) and I'll email you back quickly. Thanks, Tracy Norris Pegasus Powder Coating MCCI Member http://www.pegasuspowdercoating.com P.S. The Maverick Technical pages should be up within the week!
Errrr... My email address is tnorris@houston.rr.com (speaking of which, anyone here have any expertise setting up post offices under MS Advanced Server 2000?!?!?! hehehe)
powder coating That sounds like a great idea...what is the turnaround? I have a deadline on my workorder at school. I have about 8 pieces (none real big) I need done. Do I need to sandblast them first or anything? Thanks, Jeff
Could you powder coat at 125 Honda motorcycle frame? http://5hp.hill.cc/Motorcycles/SL125/slframefront.jpg Sorry, I know it's not a Maverick, but we've had the Motorcycle for a long time and I tore it down and decided to restore it. Trying to find someone to do the powdercoating.
Didn't even realize how old this post was till you said something. Just saw it in the list and posted.
