I didnt look at the tracks buy I did argue the fact with the guy about the seats could be original to the car but he insists that it had low backs (LDO) seats in it cause he ask original owner were they were. I agree totally that the highbacks are correct for car. These could be original highbacks with Mustang seat covers.

Looks to be worth the $2400 he is asking on Craiglist ... how come you didn't buy it? Or you have enough cars ... :D

I do have enough cars but always on the lookout for another Mav especially a Grabber, I mainly went to check it out and see just what kinda condition it was in. If I was going to sell a car I would at least wash it and take mold of off the interior panels and mushrooms off of the floor.

If it was something I would have bought I would have probably told other members on the board about it as I know a couple that would like to have a decent 72 Grabber, not saying this car isnt decent just that it doesnt meet my standards for the price.

where is all the mold coming from ( and the mushrooms) does it leak or has it just been sitting unused?

Yeah, no way it came factory with LDO buckets. The LDO interior wasn't even available with the Grabber package, period. I also wouldn't take the original owner's word. Memories fail and sometimes people just exaggerate or simply don't know. These kinds of myths are just that, myths. Same with the "factory 4-barrels, dual exhaust, nine inch rears, and 4-speeds." Never happened. Just myths.

Car has been sitting outside not sure how long and in Oregon we get lots of rain, there was not standing water on the passengers floorboard but damp could be the cowl or windshield rubber. Mold was just neglect, I see in the ebay listing he has cleaned the car up.

You cant have enough cars as long as you have someplace to put them.

Myths, yes we have all heard them. How many Boss 302 Mavs are there out there and lots of 9 inch rear ends and the 4 speeds as well all from the factory.

OK now that someone has went and looked and Craig has decoded the color #'s this is even more interesting, as I have never seen a Grabber that was originally THAT PARTICULAR shade of Green. I have no doubt seen Green Grabbers just never one that particular shade of green. Unless of course it is just the coloring in the picture or on my computer making it look different
