i was trying to :drive:my car this past saturday, eventually i did get out the garage ok but as i started to drive my front brakes would not release, it took me an hour to get that sucker back to my garage. my question is, why would my both front brakes lock? the rear brakes are ok, i did put a new caliper and brake line in both front and left.:hmmm:

if pedal is sticking or doesnt seem to have full travel then bad / sticking valve in master cylinder.
    could be bad proportional valve.
the front brakes are seprate lines coming off the proportional valve so both front wheels would act like a line lock installed
the rear is a single line.

did you just do a rebuild on the brakes....could have put them together wrong.....I have done that before.
    just my 2c worth.

Front disc brakes? your caliper is sticking for some reason.
Check to make sure that you have free play in the pedal and linkage to the master cylinder. if there is no free play the brakes will lock.

If the calipers are mechanically binding you may have to take them apart to clean and lube them. The caliper has to slide on its support and if it is binding then it can lock the brakes up.
