    Looking for 1971 Maverick Grabber
Greetings, I'm trying to locate my old 1971 Maverick Grabber. Green with white stripes, sold it in Huntsville, Alabama around 1983-4. It had a 302 c.i.d., 3 spd. manual transmission, rear spoiler and I put Cougar tail lights on it. Interior had manual on the floor, bucket seats, and button tuck velour door panels. When I sold it it had a different hood and fender (blue). Anyone seen her? Thanks...Paul

    :Welcome:

Know what the VIN was? If so, I would go to the DMV. They can't tell you to who or where the car is registered (privacy laws), but I'll bet if you ask nicely, they would at least give you a yes or a no on weather or not the car is currently registered, or when it last was. Without the VIN, it would have to be just shear dumb luck to find the car. Like finding a needle in a really big hay stack.

You could also try getting in contact with whoever you sold it to way back when and see if they still have it or have any info on who they sold it to. I've heard of people tracking cars down like that.
