Mornin y'all, I'm an old school car junkie and I have recently found a nice 73 Grabber/302 Orange w/ White stripes and top. The interior is almost perfect, as long as you like orange. Car runs good, but I have an 85 GT roller motor thats going into it. It's an automatic, but I also have a T-5 trans that i'm not sure that I want to take the time to install. Car has a damaged driver rear Q/P that has to repaired or replaced. I am fixin this car for my son that is now 14, hope to have goin for him by the time he gets his learners permit, it will be his first car, as mine was a 70 Grabber 30 YEARS ago! Look Forward to using the site.... mw73grab
Be carefull! I bought my grabber for my daughter's 16th birthday in 92, when she went off to college in 95 she was going to trade (give away) it in on a new ranger pickup so I traded her our Tarrus for it so she could get a better trade in, it has been my daily drive since ! Welcome!
Just click on the link in my signature and read the thread! I plan to be there around 7:30 or 8 A.M., just come on up Saturday morning, April 12th. Maverick or no Maverick, anyone is welcome. Guarantee it's the nicest group of guys you'll ever meet, with some damn nice Mavericks and Comets.
Welcome! Sounds like you've got a nice car in my favorite color combo for the 73 Grabber! Any pics? -Corbin
Welcome to the Madness! Old cars are great bonding tools for father-sons. Enjoy the time together. They grow up fast. Jim
