Hello, not new to site, but havent been around in a while. I have a 71 Grabber. Its restored to almost factory. The interior is original, except recoverd front buckets, and headliner. Still has original dash pad, including crack on passenger side. I had the original tranny, and engine rebuilt, but upgrades on both. I have the engine rumbling with a mild cam, headers, but kept the stock 2 barrel. Still has plenty of get up and go, sounds awesome, but lift the hood and it looks like an ordinary 302. I have tried several times to upload pics, but for some reason I am barred from doing this. Any suggestions? until then I will keep checking out all of the other Mavericks posted on this site. They all seem to have there own personalities, and its great to see the numbers growing for these strange, odd looking cars we love. I grew up in a 4 door, owned a 1976 in high school. I drove that one to about 150000 mi commuting back and forth from college in Fla,to my home outside Buffalo ny. See ya, Jake.
Welcome to the Madness! I believe you have to have at least 10 posts before you can post pictures. Jim
Welcome Back. Hope to see you and your car at Carlisle at the All Ford Nationals. The Maverick Comet Club International (MCCI) will be holding a Regional Mini-Meet there....so you will see lots of other Mavericks and Comets there.
