What do you think of this paint scheme?

looks like a datsun 210?

edit.. just did a search and cant find the one i am thinking about.. but it isnt the 210... there was a datsun that looked identical to this car.. and i have always wanted one

 

oh... and i like that paint scheme... its original.. go for it

 

I guess I'd be a little biased if I said I like it.

I like it! It will stretch out alot more on the real thing, your drawing is a little short. Don't know about the black and silver but then I've always been one of those that like the loud paint jobs with the volume turned up to 11. Anyways, I like the idea and think you should go for it.

 

I personally think its one to many colors. I like the black and silver, but the purple... doesnt sound to hot to me.


Personally i would go with Hot Pink and Black , but luckily for my husband the comet that i have it all orginal.

 

It was my dad's car that he built in our garage in '92-'93. He got the car in '84, it was white with avocado interior. It was repainted as you see it in '97 and made it into Popular Hotrodding in May of 1998, Pg. 31. There are more pictures in my gallery (the white, orange and silver cars are all the same car at various stages). I was brought home from the hospital as a new born in that car. Anytime he worked on it or went anywhere in it when I was little, I was always right there with him. He sold it in 2002, it belongs to a guy down in Pensacola, FL now.

 

That's cool! to bad he sold it though!!
