I bought my 67 Merc Comet last year and I'm ready to get started with it. To start I need to find a rear bumper and a dash pad. If anyone can lead me in the right direction. that would be great. Maybe a bumper from another make or model might be adaptable, I don't know. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks, hakkak

As I stated on your "Parts Wanted" post, we work on the newer comets, the ones that look essentially like the maverick. But you never know, there are a lot of Ford People on here and someone may be able to help you with the older comet...

    Good luck(y)

And post some pics of your project, if you get a chance.

welcome abord. what art of PA you in?

my friend/neighbor just bought a late 60's 6cyl comet 4dr off ebay for a few hundred. it would make a good parts car if you ask me. he'd probably be willing to flip it for a profit if your intrested.

would any of those parts you need interchange with '67 fairlane parts? i'd imagine they'd be alot more common
