I own two 1977 mavericks, both with 250 inline six cylinders. I am currently beginning the restoration of one. Modifications will include a 302 HO with fuel injection, five speed transmission from an 84' mustang, front end (rack and pinion) from the same 84' mustang, hopefully a 9" rear end with disc brakes. I currently have the wide front and rear bumper, and don't want to get rid of them. I want to add the air dam like the 67' mustang ( under the front bumper), but don't know if I will have the room, or if it will create a problem with the air dam. I saw online a brazilian or australian maverick with a rear spoiler made onto the car (molded over the trunk). Was this an aftermarket item, or homemade? Thank You, Redrebel
Howdy and Sounds like a good plan. The spoiler was probably hand made. Not much in the way of after market for these cars.
