More importantly where are you going to get the money for the gas for the 12.5 motor. If you have a money tree could you send me a few seeds, I really need it.:D I'm sure it would sound good killer, good luck.

race gas...it's only a bracket motor. When I'm done with racing it, I'll put a mild 393 Windsor. Cant afford to buy gas for this one to drive it on the street...

Johnny Powell in Saucier, toward McHenry. I saw your Comet out on 49 the other day...That's a nice looking car.

Wow, I haven't heard that name in quite a few years. I purchased a 70 Boss 302 Mustang from him about 15-16 years ago. His Machine Shop was in Biloxi at the time. Next time you see him tell him Ray Parrish said hello.

Johnny's a pretty good guy. His shop in Biloxi went under water, so he moved north of the coast. Evacuated most of his equipment before the storm. I will prob be seeing him Monday or Tuesday.. Gotta unload the C block and crank from the back of the truck.. When I tore that thing down, it didnt even have a ridge in the cylinders...Still had factory rings, bearings, gaskets, etc. Gonna make a nice one, methinks.

Well, when you see him tell him my Boss 302 went underwater too. I had to sell it so it could be saved. It's in North Carolina now.

Its kind of off the beaten path so to say. He works out of a small shop behind his home, just north of the new 67 overpass on 49. Coming toward Gulfport, it will be on the left side of 49.
