I was wondering would these headers fit my 351W?
    SUM-G9076
    They are a Summit brand.

How? I thought the 351 and 302 were of the same engine style?
A few other mechanics suggest I use 302 headers, even the guys at summit racing.

You and your 'tech guys' (that should know better) are missing the point!
There is a bigger picture to look at besides "do the headers bolt to the engine?".
YES, 351w and 302 use the same exhaust ports!
The headers will swap all day on the engine stand.
But you have to look at the header fitment in the car as well.

There are headers that are listed as fitting specific model cars with either a 302 or 351w. That is because the headers swap and the engine bay of the car in question is big enough to make the swap.

Our cars don't have big enough engine bays for this.
    That's the big picture!
Think about every individual that told you different...
    Got them in mind?
Okay, now, NEVER ASK THEM ADVICE AGAIN!
If they don't know this simple fact, they can't help you with anything more complex... Like 2+2!

Yeah I feel the love. :beerchug:
I just figure I ask because I already have the shock towers cut back as far as I can go.

    No worries!:Handshake

My 'ire' (sp?) was aimed at the folks giving you silly advice.
They should know better. You are the victim.

Just a heads up, cutting back the towers doesn't help header fitment.
It just lets you get to the bolts easier. The headers themselves are located below the lowest point you can shave the towers, no matter which engine. So the engine bay the headers "see" is unchanged by a tower shave.
