ever have any over heating problems?

    are they worth the money?

kinda pricey in my book, but if its worth more than 5-10hp i might get one...

    They cost about 100.00
I had to knock the center out of my stat so I could slow the water down a little to keep it in the rad long enough to cool off.

If you are only running on the strip I wouldn't worry about the stat, street I would use a 160 degree or the step above.

I like my csr!! Tech support is great and yes you usually have to restrict water flow with them! $300 bucks is the norm,, if you find it for $100 go for it, used if it says csi it's older model but even with update pump your saving a bundle! New motor/pump was about $100 couple years ago.

Did see some other makes coming out with the 351w pump,, unsure on them,,, Good Luck Eddie, if used just check out replacement motor cost for value

I been using a CSR on the street about 2 1/2 years with no problem. No more heat soak when you shut down the engine...let the pump run and watch the gauge fall.
