    Hey guys, I happened across this forum and it is loaded with awesome pics of old drag racing Mavericks/Comets. I gotta go back when I got more time and see what else is there. Already spent over an hour looking and saving pics. Look at all 23 pages on this thread...great pics on each page.

    See...nobody liked Comets back then either. He wanted everybody to think it was a Mav!

    It ran thru my mind... going with the GT stripes and a vinyl top tho. I had already bought the materials before I seen it, saw it a while back, cant remember where.

    What seems odd to me is that with that engine it appears that he's running a stock radiator and shroud. Oh yeah...missing a few fender bolts too. I do like it though. (y) I like any of those old race cars.

    still looking for an engine, i can get one, but right now, im trying to catch up a few things since ive bought a new truck 08 f150:dancing: and helping mom out cause she doesnt make a ton, and she doesnt make a whole lot, thats probley the main reason im not done yet, i love my car, but family first :thumbs2:
