If thats the case mate let me know, I know quite a few torana lads in the eastern states who might be able to put you onto a good one.

stall speed is fine. gearing is to tall. 289 torker is good. However you might want to go with a weiand stealth. They have a power band of off idle to 6800 RPM. but with your bumpstick it will go 7000rpm. max. If your streeting the car. You'll have better driveability with the weiand. smoother lower end torque and horsepower transition. If you want to feel like you just got tromped on by the defensive line and backs from the NY Giants the next morning of neck snapping launches stay with the torker.

Hi everyone, its been a good long while since I've posted here, but a ground up rebuild takes a hell of alot longer then I had thought!

Either way, an update, it starts! This is my first engine rebuild so I took my sweet time with it. Figure i've got about 3 months of work to get it finished, just in time for summer cruising if the hybrid drivers and hand wringers havent pushed fuel into an unaffordable range by then.
