another rear end ???

    Are the u joint caps the same for a 9" rear as they are for an 8"? I'm using my stock driveshaft. If not, does someone know if they make a u joint to fit the stock driveshaft and the 9" yoke.

    Yes there is a Ujoint that has both size caps on it. It was used by Ford on some of their models so it is quite common.

    I used the Precision 353 to convert from 1310 to 1330 you can also use a Spicer 5-134X

    opposite that is the precesion 331 or 347......I cant remember just that it was a stroker number:idea:

    Using a large shaft with the small 8 inch pinion....

    If all else fails "oops that was boxed wrong" at the parts store. lol I've seen that before when they swapped caps for someone. lol
