Are you sure its the same episode where his truck gets hit by a train and he buys a new one? I don't recall anything about a maverick in it either...

The one where he buys a maverick is a flashback scene when hank is telling peegy about his special deal with the car dealer. He and peggy go to buy her a new car and peggy is negotiating with the dealer. Hank says he will finish the deal. Hank tells peggy he paid sticker price and not a cent more. Peggy tells him that he was being ripped off. Hank goes to make some flyers to put on the cars at the lot. While at the copy place he meets a guy that wants to help him protest the dealer. When hank shows up he finds 3 people dressed in black. Hank is putting the flyers on the cars and hears a noice. The others had either blew up or burned up all the cars. Hank is a suspect but finally gets off since the dealer says not to press charges. I'm not sure if I have all the lines right but that's the best I remember the episode

That is a good episode...I've seen that one and caught the maverick mentioned. Good ol' Hank Hill...his truck is a Ford, right?

on the website hulu.com you can see an exerpt that shows the Maverick scene of Hank buying the car. Look for the episode "Sticker Price" in the exerpt part after you get to the show itself. Just click where it says alphabetical and go to King Of The Hill and click there.

    Robin

P.S. I just noticed on the pic above that there are 2 other Mavs next to the one Hank buys (or maybe they are Comets!)
