Got the bar in today, its just the bar, nothing else, no instructions or anything!

I ordered it from Jegs and they say they can't tell me anything until Monday when they can call Addco.

Doesn't it replace the stock bar? Shouldn't need instructions ... :)

Sorry Charlie - thought you meant you got the front bar .... I just ordered the front bar myself from JEGS. Was special order - said I should have it in two to three weeks ..

Weld that bottom bracket to the diff housing. If you don't it WILL wear through and then you will have a good leak. I found out the hard way a few years ago on another application with the same style mount.

The bracket wears through? Or the U-bolt?...

I've heard of people putting the old front sway bar in the back but until I looked at that picture, I couldn't figure out how. Putting the end links in front of the axle allows the bends to go around the diff. I wonder if the length of the bar is right.

njnjtek: That is the external fuel pump for the EFI that I installed. I now have heat shielding around it to protect it from the exaust pipe..

hotrodbob: Thanks for that info! I will definitely tack the bottom bracket to the housing when I get a chance...

    Got gipped!

Just got off the phone with Jegs and after many transfers and holds they finally told me it was supposed to have the attaching hardware. Addco should be shipping to me direct.

So a little hassle but I'm getting what I should have in the end. I'm glad I ordered from jegs and not JC Whitney because they really have good customer support when things go wrong (it was ADdcos fault not jegs).

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
i'd also weld where the end links attached to the subframe and also reinforce the sub frame as well. my addco endlink mounts ripped and craked the subframe. so intern i'd reinforce it some way or another.

That's exactly what I was thinking Derek, over time and after enough cornering, I could see the subframe ripping like it did with the coil-over shocks that were on my Mav when I got it. I plan to make a bracket from heavier steel, or at least reinforce the existing subframe with heavy sheetmetal.
