Power steering is "acting up",way too easy to the left.and surper hard to the right,if parked it seems kinda hard either way, hoses are good and pump and belt are fine, any one had this problem before and how did you fix it?

If you recently ran out of oil for some reason or other you may have air in the control valve . Other problems could be the control valve sticking , have air in it , or dirty . The slave cylinder could also be bypassing oil .

Bump. Tom, what did you find out about this? I'm having this trouble now with my kid's 72. It did run dry at one point. Needs both hoses replaced. Going to do that. What was your ultimate solution?

There is an adjustment for the control valve. We rebuilt the one in my first 74 and it worked beautifully, my current, never did get it right. Left was easy, right wasn't hard, but was never as easy.

I finally did away with it and haven't regretted it for a second.
