I just got a '72 Maverick from my Dad who would like me to sell it for him but I have no idea what it is worth. It has a rebuilt 302, holley 600 dbl brl carb, headers, elect ignition, white with tinted windows. It is in great shape! I have been driving it on the weekends.

Any thoughts on how much it would be worth?

    Thanks.

    mmm... I would say $4000.00 to $6000.00
How is the interior? Engine Bay? What kind of tranny does it have? Does it have a floor shifter? Bucket Seats?

If I was to sell it. I think I would let it go for $5000.00. But you never know! There might be someone out there that will buy it for more.

I think the car is worth more than $5000, but for some reason people won't pay good prices for Mavericks/Comets, if it were a Mustang, 3-4 times that would be the norm. You couldn't build that car for that price these days.

A 1972 LDO ... SWEET! I really like the upholstery job too ... Not a fan of the steering wheel or shifter used for the conversion ... but that is all fixable ..

The seatbelt light on the dash is unique to the 1972 model year. This car being a LDO has the woodgrain trim piece on the dash where the light would have been mounted on a non LDO 1972 car. Therefore it was mounted under it.

That must have been a different maverick because this car has never been on ebay.

i think 5k would be a very fair price

as maverick die hards around here its easy to say its worth alot more but out there on the open market you wont always find this kind of select group willing to throw money down like it was a nova or mustang

good luck in the sale though

i wouldnt go anywhere below 5k if it were me
