If water doesn't leaks through the cowl, or passes through the floor pans, I'd say yes. But what engine is in there? Does it have disk brakes? Power steering or power brakes?
yep.... what filthy creature lived in that maverick, no wonder the engine locked up, they never changed the oil from the looks of things. and my Odometer reads 18,345....lol. it's got over 100k on it untill now when i rebuilt the engine.
A 1973 Maverick would not have disk brakes/power brakes from the factory. It would have manual drum brakes. The data sticker shows the car was factory equipped with a 302V8 engine.
No! I'd only give around $500-$800 and the top end of that is pushing it IMO. My car is near mint and I only gave $1500 for it.....deals are still out there.
I hope to pick my new toy up this weekend... mine has similar body condition, thrashed interior, and a V8 needing work but it apparently isn't "seized" like the one you're looking at... although that black interior with buckets and floor shift is sweet... but you gotta consider the price of a running engine to make it a $1200 car (my guess). I'd say they're "testing the market" with that price... go $850.00
if i wanted it to build, i'd go $1500..... but for a parts car, $800 tops (and like Jamie said, just for the interior) however, the car is neat because of it's interior and options and isn't a grabber
