It's the same tank as the 76 Maverick's used. I have one in my 73.

Gotta use 1/2" longer carriage bolts other than that its a direct swap

Dave, was it a dirrect bolt in, or did you also have to use longer bolts?

My car had one in it when I bought it, so I just replaced them with the same that were in there already. One thing that I did notice, is that they used the 73 straps that were made for the other style tank.

Thanks Dave. I have a 73. I may try that if I go back with a unmodified tank.
