I have a folder called "Maverick" on my desktop. I just hit properties on that folder, and it says I currently have 5,523 files in 202 folders totaling 5.45GB, dating back to December of 2004. In that folder are just tons of random pictures I have taken or downloaded here and there. Then there are sub folders for each car I have that contain pictures I've taken pertaining to that car. Then there are sub folders for events and stuff I have attended, such as "Fun Ford Weekend 6-14-08" is the newest event folder. I can usually find a specific picture pretty easily.
I take hundreds of pictures of every Maverick we have ever worked on. It does not matter if it's a complete restore or just a spot repair, I document darn near everything and save it all on a disc. Engine pics are always good to have on hand. There have been many times when those pictures have come in handy when researching where this wire or that little bracket needs to go. If we make a repair that is common to Mavericks and might be useful to someone else, I can download the pictures off the disc and post them....once I remember which car it was and which disc they are on. I never keep all my pictures on the computer anymore. I've been saving them to disc ever since that one time when my computer crashed and all my pictures went bye-bye. Needless to say, I have LOTS of filled up disc.
and I thought I had some kind of obsession with Mavericks with my 400 MB of pictures. I'll follow your example people!
thats cool. i have like 5 pics on my phone, 10 bad pics on my lap top, and 15 on the memory card in my camera. i think i have posted 3 of them total.
