    same thing as damadman...
bought mine as a daily driver... and it's the only car i own...
the car is not gonna be drove when they are pooring salt on the road, but it's still gonna stay outside for the winter (don't have an inside parking).

other than that....cold, hot, rainy weather... she's been drove each time i needed her.
but i'm lucky: i need 10 minutes to walk to my job.

mint extract to keep mice away during storage...

Some people use moth balls to keep the mice away, but it leaves an unpleasant order for most of the following season. Another solution is to buy pure "mint extract", the kind you find in the baking goods section of the supermarket. There is something about the mint that the mice don't like. To use it, simply open the top and set it inside an old cool whip or margarine container (and I usually drop a few cotton balls in the container and moisten them with some of the mint extract) on the floor mat of the car. The mint will slowly evaporate over time, and by spring the bottle is usually empty. The cool thing is, the mint leaves a "nice" smell in the car, rather than the moth ball smell! My dad has been doing this for many years now, he's a farmer and has always had problems with mice getting into the combine & tractor cabs and raising havoc. He swears by this method, so I thought I would pass it on....

Well, his profile says he's living in Wississunga, Ontario, that can probably help to know what kind of winter he's talking about :)

My '72 is parked outside and gets driven year round in all weather. IF we get snow in GA, it's usually only like 1 or 2 days a year. Some years we don't get any. This car has spent some time in Philadelphia though, so it's already seen it's share of road salt. Has pinholes here and there in the torque boxes and plenty of Bondo. My '73 will see the same kind of use as the '72, except I won't drive it in the snow.

I really wish we got snow once a year. It's so sad I've never made a snowman nor thrown snow balls to my friends. If that happened, the Mav would be parked inside :)

Mine will always be garaged year round and only come out on good days. They are far from done, but it took me to long to aquire them to let them rot any more.
