I've been watching this one. The price is still pretty low I think. Would a 9" rear with disk brakes be worth the 400.00 I think it might sell for? I dont really need a 9" for the power I am putting out but the disk breaks might be nice to have.

People have to be careful on these 9" disc brake rearends. Not all are versailles versions. There are a ton of the old Lincoln MarkV ones around. I just traded one for a complete 302. I can tell them apart buy a pic, and when someone doesnt show a pic I am skeptical of what they actually have. The Lincoln 9" is easily bought for $100.00

ps I traded the rearend to dude who has one in a prostreet 66 chevy pickup, he wanted the components, I wanted the 302.

The versailles rear I had came with 2:50 gears and track-lock.

Are the Mark 5 ones the same width as the Versailles ones? How do you identify if it has the 9" with the trac loc and all that?

A Mark 5 rear end is wider, also a Mark 5 is a coil spring car so the mounts are different.
