Another Comet update

I just cut in the fenders and hood today. I'll mount them tomorrow. This is a fiberglass hood that they did a horrible job finishing it on the underside. It seems I did more work on the under side of the hood then the whole car.... lol. The center was so bad I decided to use truck bed liner on it to hide all the raw fiberglass. If your wondering, the two things under the hood are my Aerocatch hood pin latches that I molded in flush on the top side. The 4 holes are for my hood scoop.

where did you get a fiber glass hood for a comet ,it looks good

 

I can't remember...I bought it about a year ago of the internet from a fiberglass parts company... I'll try and find out if you want.

 

if its not to much trouble that would be great thanks

 

Here is a link for the hood.... I got the g6219 one. It says Maverick in the left side, but says "Hood-flat-Comet" in the parts section.
