    Hi All,
I know it's already been discussed and I did my search. I found this engine and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me.

I am looknig for a dependable engine because my car will be a commuter with a little bit of road fun. I have a 200ci in right now and am acquiring the parts for the V8 upgrade which I will have someone do.

I am hoping to spend in the low $3K for a turn key engine if anyone has suggestions. I have been quoted $900 for the installation, is that reasonable? seems low.

i dont think i could ever trust some no name place off ebay for a rebuilt motor. id either order up a crate from jegs or summit or something like that or have something built by a good local shop that stands behind their work

i have no idea what the current doing rates are for mechanic work, espically a motor swap but if i lived anywhere in your area id be happy to swap those motors for you at that price lol
